Connect Stripe and get paid

Buyers can only pay once your Stripe account is ready.

What you need

• A verified SellSpace account.
• Your personal or company details and bank account for payouts.
• An ID document if Stripe asks for one.

Steps

1. Open Payment MethodsIn the dashboard menu choose Payments, Payment Methods.
2. Start the connectionChoose Connect Stripe Account. You are sent to Stripe's secure onboarding page.
3. Fill in Stripe's formEnter your details and your bank account. Stripe verifies you. SellSpace never sees your bank details.
4. Return to SellSpaceStripe sends you back to the Payment Methods page, which then reads the live status from Stripe.
5. Check the statusConnected means you can sell. Pending means Stripe needs more information or is still verifying.

If the status stays Pending

Open the connection again. Stripe lists exactly what is missing (for example identity documents or bank details). Verification can take some time. Until Stripe says the account is ready, buyers see a notice that the shop owner has not finished Stripe setup.

What it costs

Stripe charges its own processing fees. SellSpace adds a per-sale fee of 3.5%, 1.25% or 0.5% depending on your plan. See Fees and plans.
