Push Notifications

Choose which store events notify you, and where: e-mail, Discord, Telegram or your own HTTP endpoint. Find it under Settings › Push Notifications in the dashboard.

Set up a channel

Settings belong to the shop that is selected in the shop switcher. Owners and managers can change them. Every channel has a Send test button, and the Delivery log shows the last 50 messages of the shop for 30 days (status and error only, never the message text).

  1. E-mail goes to your account address, or to another address you enter. It is sent with the platform's own e-mail service and follows its sending limits.
  2. Discord: paste a webhook URL of your server (https://discord.com/api/webhooks/...). Messages are sent as an embed with the event name and its details. On Pro you can customise the embed title, colour, footer and thumbnail.
  3. Telegram: create a bot with BotFather, add it to your chat and paste the bot token and the chat id.
  4. HTTP request: enter an https URL. SellSpace sends a JSON POST with event, shop_id, created_at and data.

Then switch the channels on for the events you care about and press Save changes. Everything is off until you switch it on.

Plans

PlanChannels
FreeE-mail and Discord
PremiumE-mail, Discord, Telegram and HTTP request
ProEverything, plus Discord embed customisation

If a plan ends, your settings are kept but the channels it no longer includes stay silent.

Events

Orders: checkout started, new sale, payment confirmed (crypto and PayPal), paid order missing stock, refund, dispute and custom fields submitted. Products: sold out and restocked. Customers and support: new feedback, new ticket, new ticket reply, affiliate reward credited. Account and billing: plan expiring, failed subscription payment, payment account needs attention, team member joined, Media Helper review, referral reward. Marketplace: listing approved and rejected. Events the platform does not have yet are shown as Not available yet.

Refunds, disputes, custom fields and tickets already send you an e-mail on their own, so the e-mail switch is marked Built-in there. The live alerts for streams (Partners & Alerts) are a separate feature.

Verify HTTP requests

If you set a signing secret, each request carries X-SellSpace-Timestamp (unix seconds) and X-SellSpace-Signature: sha256= followed by the hex HMAC-SHA256 of timestamp + "." + raw body, using your secret. Recompute it, compare in constant time and reject old timestamps. Your endpoint should answer with a 2xx status within a few seconds.
